How Do We Work?
Together is the answer.
An MP should support this process of elected representation by being locally focussed and engaging with some of the big issues challenging residents in South Cambs. Lib Dem local work is not dictated by rigid policy dictated from above, but from the ground up. What you - the residents we represent - tell us at ground level is what informs us in the very first place.
Your local Lib Dem councillor groups on the District and County Council are well known for their habit of debating, often quite fiercely, on how the groups should tackle particular issues. The principle is to bring all ideas to the table, discuss them, and work toward a constructive consensus from which we can support forward action.
